Brent’s story-As a young boy, I always felt a calling from God on my life, to love God and love people. To be a minister of the gospel. At 11yrs old I had my first opportunity to be involved in the lives of people with disabilities, when I would go to Summer Rec program with my brother Mark. After several yrs of volunteering, doors were opened to work as a direct care staff, which then turned into being a group home manager. All in all probably roughly 25 yrs working within different group homes, as direct care staff and home manager. I have also worked several years within the mental hospital setting in Indiana and Kentucky.
I am married to my best friend and beloved, Stephanie. We have grown children and we are grandparents. We have two precious doodles, named Kemp and Penny. I have a degree in Christian ministry. My wife and I are very active at Revive Church where I have opportunities to teach and disciple others in their relationship with Christ. In July of 2024, my wife and I were blessed to take our first mission trip to Jamaica and help out with the Red Ground Children's Ministry. Every Friday, we have church in our home which we call Wildfire.
My heart and calling and purpose is to love God and love people. To leave a legacy that leads people into a deeper and intimate relationship with Jesus. My favorite quote is "Preach the gospel and sometimes use words." It is my daily ambition to bless others and leave them better than I found them! To bless, challenge, love, encourage and strengthen one another, and get up the next day and do it again. "Love each other with genuine affection, and take delight in honoring each other " Romans 12:10. We are honored and excited to have Brent join our team!
